SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF WESTERN CAROLINA UNIVERSITY

The Board of Trustees of 蘑菇短视频 met in a special session on December 2, 2008. The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman MacNeill.
ATTENDANCE
The following members of the Board were present: Mr. Worley, Mr. Warren, Dr. Siegel,
Mr. Kiser, Mr. Phillips, Mr. Metcalf, and Mrs. MacNeill.
The following members of the Board were absent: Mr. Carlisle, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Wyche, Mr. Frixen, Mr. Little, and Mrs. Burda.
Others present included: Chancellor Bardo and Ms. Welch, Assistant Secretary to the Board. Dr. John Moore of Penson Associates joined the meeting by telephone.
WELCOME TO NEW TRUSTEE
Mrs. MacNeill welcomed Dr. Betty Siegel to the Board. She will be sworn in at the
regular meeting on Friday, December 3.
CLOSED SESSION
Mr. Warren moved that the Board go into closed session to consider the qualifications,
competence, performance, condition of appointment of a public officer or employee
or prospective public officer or employee. Mr. Worley seconded the motion, and it
was approved.
RETURN TO OPEN SESSION
Mr. Worley moved that the Board return to open session. Mr. Kiser seconded the motion,
and it was approved.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 a.m. to continue with the Trustee Retreat.
