SPECIAL TELEPHONE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF WESTERN CAROLINA UNIVERSITY
April 18, 2011
The Board of Trustees of 蘑菇短视频 met by telephone in special session on April 18, 2011. Mr. Warren called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
ATTENDANCE
The following members of the Board were present on the call: Mr. Broadwell, Mr. Kiser,
Mrs. MacNeill, Mr. Metcalf, Ms. Saunooke, Mr. Warren, Mr. Worley, Mr. Dorsey, and
Mr. Forsyth.
The following members of the Board were absent on the call: Mr. Little, Dr. Siegel, Mrs. Williams, and Mrs. Wyche.
Others present on the call: Ms. Lochner, General Counsel, and Ms. Welch, Assistant Secretary to the Board.
CLOSED SESSION
Mrs. MacNeill moved that the Board go into closed session to prevent the premature
disclosure of an honorary award or scholarship. Mr. Broadwell seconded the motion,
and it was approved.
OPEN SESSION
Ms. Saunooke moved that the Board return to open session. Mrs. MacNeill seconded
the motion, and it was approved.
Mr. Broadwell thanked Mr. Warren for his leadership throughout the Chancellor Search process and for the chance to join the group in Chapel Hill when Chancellor-Elect Belcher was named. Mrs. MacNeill stated that the Cullowhee event welcoming the Belchers to campus was fantastic. She stated that Mr. Warren had been an excellent leader. The Belchers embraced the community at large, which was a wonderful thing to happen.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Mr. Warren adjourned the meeting at 4:10 p.m.
