The Catamount Philanthropy Council is a diverse group of select Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵstudents who possess
strong leadership, public speaking, and interpersonal skills. This group is designed
to strengthen the relationship between current students and alumni of Western Carolina
University. These students work together to spread enthusiasm, energy, and help uphold
traditions of WCU. The CPC serves as the student voice of the University to a variety
of external and internal constituents.
Requirements to Apply:
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
You must be at least a second semester Freshman
You must have a minimum of 2 semesters remaining at WCU
Council Duties:
Attend CPC Meetings (quarterly)
Volunteer for at least 1 tabling or event during the academic year
Serve as a social media ambassador for the Office of Advancement
