Take in sparkling marble towns, the breathtaking royal city of 脡vora and fortified Elvas. You鈥檒l also relish Portugal鈥檚 soul-stirring fado music and wonderful culinary experiences, including a hands-on cooking lesson in a private home, a unique olive oil tasting on an estate and tasty samples at a town market. Plus, admire the impressive Roman ruins of M茅rida, Spain, and marvel at Lisbon鈥檚 cultural riches! Enjoy six nights in Vila Vi莽osa and two nights in Lisbon, along with enriching guided tours and lectures.

Day 1 | Depart for Lisbon
Fly from your gateway city to Lisbon. AHI FlexAir passengers, check luggage to LIS.
Day 2 | Lisbon | Vila Vi莽osa
Arrive in Lisbon, meet your group, and transfer to Alentejo Marmoris Hotel. Welcome
reception and dinner.
Day 3 | Vila Vi莽osa | Borba
Explore Vila Vi莽osa and visit a marble quarry. Enjoy lunch at Vila Santa Winery and
tour the Ducal Palace.
Day 4 | 脡vora
Visit 脡vora鈥檚 Chapel of Bones and cook traditional dishes with Chef Sofia. Free time
in Vila Vi莽osa.
Day 5 | Monsaraz | S茫o Pedro do Corval
Tour the hilltop village of Monsaraz and Herdade do Espor茫o estate. Stop at a pottery
workshop in S茫o Pedro do Corval.
Day 6 | M茅rida, Spain | Olivenza | Vila Vi莽osa
Visit M茅rida鈥檚 Roman ruins and Olivenza鈥檚 museum. Return to Vila Vi莽osa for free time.
Day 7 | Estremoz | Elvas
Visit Estremoz market and Elvas鈥� UNESCO fortifications. Dinner at Alentejo Marmoris
Hotel.
Day 8 | Lisbon
Transfer to Lisbon for a city tour, including Jer贸nimos Monastery and Bel茅m Tower.
Free afternoon.
Day 9 | Lisbon
Enjoy a free day in Lisbon or take a day trip to Sintra. Farewell dinner with fado
music.
Day 10 | Depart for home
Transfer to Lisbon Airport for your flight home.

The Madison Legacy Society recognizes donors who have made planned gifts to the university or to the 蘑菇短视频Foundation, while the Cullowhee Society acknowledges cumulative giving of gifts totaling $100,000 or more. Note: Tour schedule is subject to change due to local conditions. Many excursions in this program involve an element of walking as some of the finest attractions are located in areas not closely accessible by motorcoach.Depending on the excursion, more leisurely alternatives may be available.
