Dr. Candice Laney is an associate professor at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ. Dr. Laney brings 20 years of clinical experience to the classroom. She has served in several nursing leadership roles and has a clinical background including experience in public health, home health, geriatric, and peri-operative nursing.<br>She earned her doctoral degree in nursing practice as a dual enrolled student at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ & University of North Carolina -Charlotte. Dr. Laney also maintains the designation of Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) by the National League for Nursing.<br>Dr. Laney is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is also an active member of the National League for Nurses, ANA-American Nurses Association, NCNA- North Carolina Nursing Association, and the PHI KAPPA PHI Honor Society.
