Biography

Originally from the Tampa Bay area, Emma earned her B.A. in English with a concentration in Writing Studies and Creative Writing certificate from the University of South Florida. She earned her M.A. in English with a concentration in Professional Writing and Rhetoric from WCU, writing a collection of creative nonfiction essays on digital-material rhetoric for her thesis. Her interests include new media, digital rhetoric, feminist studies, and creative writing.

Teaching Interests

Emma currently teaches first-year composition courses to support the English Studies Department's Writing, Rhetoric, and Critical Studies program.
