Dr. Wilson became a paramedic in July 1998. She worked for Spartanburg EMS, a division of Spartanburg Medical Center, in Spartanburg, SC from September 1998 until August 2011 as a full time paramedic. She continues as a part time paramedic presently. She has served the EMC program at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵas a full time faculty member since August 2011. She served as the Clinical Education Coordinator for the EMC program from May 2015 until May 2024. She began serving as the Program Director in May 2024. Dr. Wilson holds a BS in Chemistry from Erskine College ('94), an MHS from Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ ('08), and an Ed.D in E Learning from Northcentral University ('18). She resides in Gaffney, SC with her husband.
Dr. Wilson currently teaches Medical Emergencies, Maternal, Pediatric Emergencies lecture and lab courses, and Advanced Medical Technique Courses.
Dr. Wilson's research interests include women's issues in EMS, mental health issues in First Responders, and clinical education for paramedics.
