Associate Professor of Interior Design at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ, Cullowhee, NC, and a practicing interior designer. Master’s degree awarded by the University of<br>Kentucky, and a Bachelor’s from Miami University. My early career focused on resort and multi-family construction and has progressed into exploring ways in which designers can positively affect the Quality of Life for our elderly population.
Teaching Interests include hand drafting, digital and hand-drawn perspectives and renderings, building codes, and upper-level design studios focusing on commercial design. As well, as Formative Assessment within the Arts.
Primary areas of research include acoustics as they relate to Quality of Life in Elder Care, and Formative and Summative Assessment within the arts with a focus on Interior Design.
