Biography

I have lived in the TN-WNC region all of my life, and I am happy to have built my home and career here in the Appalachian mountains. When I am not teaching, I like to spend my time reading, in various creative pursuits, and watching Korean dramas.

Teaching Interests

I teach writing and rhetoric, and I approach my teaching with a liberal studies philosophy and the determination to connect my students' work in my classroom with their lives outside the classroom.
