A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Dr. Terry Rose has been an assistant professor in the department of Elementary and Middle Grades Education (currently reorganized as The School of Teaching and Learning) since 1992.
Dr. Terry Rose teaches mathematics methods courses for inservice and preservice teachers in both undergraduate and graduate programs.
Dr. Rose's research interests are developing non-routine mathematics problem solving strategies as well as developing mathematics conceptual understanding in elementary and middle school students.
