Veronica Wisnewski-Parks earned her A.A. from Alamance Community College, B.A in English from UNC-Greensboro, and M.A. in Rhetoric and Composition from NC State University, where she explored the field of Writing Studies with Chris Anson, Sociolinguistics with Walt Wolfram, and Community College Writing Program Administration with Zachary Beare. Her professional background includes a diverse range of teaching experiences including: tutoring student athletes and graduate students in writing; teaching High School Equivalency classes as well as the high school elective, Jobs for America’s Graduates; and instructing Girl Scouts from 5-50 in canoeing/kayaking paddling and safety
Veronica teaches ENGL-101 working with students from across the university. Her classes center around experimentation, exploration, and play with writing. It is her goal to provide students with a space find enjoyment in writing as they meet the Course Objectives and Learning Outcomes.
