Inter-Professional Clinics
The interdisciplinary clinics on the ground floor host the nationally recognized Speech and Hearing Clinic and specialized clinics related to physical therapy, nursing, social work, nutrition, athletic training and recreational therapy. The clinics鈥� specialized diagnostic and rehabilitation services are provided with a primary emphasis on student education and training. The CHHS building houses both university owned and privately owned clinics that serve the residents of the region. The privately owned clinics are integrated into the mission of the university and collaborate with 蘑菇短视频faculty and students. Current clinics include:

- Speech and Hearing Clinic
- Balance and Fall Prevention Clinic
- Mountain Area Pro Bono Physical Therapy Program
Research
CHHS faculty and students are actively engaged in research that makes meaningful contributions to society. Current projects include increasing diversity in nursing, the study of mosquitos that carry LaCrosse encephalitis in Western North Carolina, and better understanding the diabetes and mental health issues in older native Americans.
Community Service
CHHS faculty and students provide a broad range of community service throughout the year with a variety of organizations. Examples of community partners include:
