Kendall Rhymer wins award

Congratulations to Kendall Rhymer, a double major in Music Education and Philosophy
& Religion, she just won top prize in the Sounding 蘑菇短视频Art Contest for a unique visual/sound
composition they created focusing on the relationship between Cherokee people and
our university, The work featured Tom Belt speaking Cherokee as well as snare drum
and footage from around campus. She also won $400 and they are donating to a charity
of Tom's choosing.

About the Department
In WCU's Philosophy and Religion Department we challenge our students to answer fundamental
questions about the nature of reality and our understanding of it; about the meaning
and value in our lives; and our relationship with each other, to the natural world,
