Students from COUN 619 hike
October 9-11, master level counseling students spent a 3 day camping trip as part of the Nature as a Metaphor in Counseling course (COUN 619). The culminating hike in Dupont State Forest was wet and memorable. During this class students learn methods of incorporating the complexities and interactive systems found in nature into client treatment plans through the construction of metaphors that match client diagnosis and accepted modalities of treatment.
