Call Me MiSTER (Mentors Instructing Students Toward Effective Role models) is a Teacher Recruitment and Retention program open to ALL aspiring Teachers, regardless of race, ethnicity, or gender.
There is an expectation that graduates make a commitment to serve communities experiencing Teacher recruitment and retention challenges for as many years as they received support.
MiSTERS will apply for and have access to college scholarships and University Financial Aid opportunities as well as:

5. Selected candidates will be invited for a Call Me MiSTER interview process on WCU's
Cullowhee campus
6. Though the program is designed to increase male teachers of diverse backgrounds
in the region and across North Carolina, the program is open to all students without
