Facilities management employees honored during ceremony

Staff members from WCU鈥檚 Department of Facilities Management were honored recently during the department鈥檚 2017-18 picnic and awards ceremony. Awardees included:

High-Five Award, honoring an employee who reacts swiftly during a challenging event, resulting in a better outcome due to quick thinking and appropriate action 鈥� Derek Allison.
Spotlight Staff Award, for individuals who implement an idea that improves cost-effectiveness, increases efficiency, enhances safety or convenience, promotes financial or environmental sustainability and/or solves a problem on campus in a manner consistent with departmental procedures while promoting collaboration: Daniel Fiskeaux.
Outstanding Staff Awards, honoring employees who have demonstrated excellent overall performance and outstanding service: grounds recipient 鈥� Hunter Stillwell; housekeeping recipient 鈥� Gina Smith; office recipient 鈥� Adam Guffey; and trades/plants recipient 鈥� Trey Schular.
