Sarah Carpenter is a firm believer in paying it forward, which is why she and her husband make it point to always give back to their community. So, when Carpenter recently learned she was the recipient of the Fullerton Medical Scholarship Award, the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ nurse practitioner graduate student said it was a result of her commitment to giving.

The UNC System is expanding COVID-19 vaccine storage capacity at all 15 research institutions. The new freezers provide safe storage of nearly 2 million 2-ml vials of COVID-19 vaccine.

Music education major Kendall Rhymer wins first prize in Sounding Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵart contest

Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ senior Kendall Rhymer was recently named the winner of the university’s Sounding Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵart contest. Rhymer, who is majoring in music education, philosophy and religion, took home the $400 first place prize with her project titled “Tali Tsigwaya Gaduhv (Two Sparrows Town).
