Week of activities to culminate with installation of Kelli Brown as WCU's chancellor

Kelli R. Brown will be installed as chancellor of ĢƵ during a formal ceremony Friday, March 27, capping a week of activities designed to spotlight the university’s impact across the mountain region and the role ĢƵwill play in the future of North Carolina.

ĢƵ’s Facilities Management unit is a family, as far as members of its leadership team are concerned, so they decided to help take care of their own by establishing the ĢƵFacilities Management Annual Scholarship in honor of “I Love WCU” month.

Beth Wall-Bassett, ĢƵ associate professor of nutrition and dietetics, was excited when she walked across the stage at Elon University recently to receive the Engaged Faculty Award from North Carolina Campus Compact during its annual “Pathways to Achieving Civic Engagement” Conference.

De Silva, Davis named to All-SoCon Faculty and Staff Team

During ĢƵ’s men’s basketball game Saturday night against The Citadel, the Southern Conference will recognize Channa De Silva, associate professor of chemistry, and Lowell Davis, associate vice chancellor for student success.
