Grants for ĢƵprojects announced by Research Administration

Grants were awarded in April 2019 for a variety of projects involving university faculty, staff and students.

Youth swim programs scheduled for weekdays June through August

The sessions will include classes for three age categories – “shark” for children 6 and up; “fish” for ages 3-5; and “minnow” for children 6 months to 3 years.

Honors College students read to school children through 'Book Buddies' project

ĢƵstudents read to the Smokey Mountain Elementary School pupils on a regular basis as schedules allow, sometimes to a classroom or a small group and sometimes as a one-on-one activity.

Barnes wins distinguished teaching, service awards from math group

The awards were presented at the 98th annual conference of the Southeastern Section of the Mathematical Association of America.

‘Lead the Way’ fundraising campaign total surpasses $60 million goal

Two hundred new scholarships have been created since the effort began in July 2014.

Collins to be honored, remembered with scholarship in her name

The scholarship will provide support for students who are majoring in the fine and performing arts, with preference given to those in the School of Stage and Screen.

Kossick presents lectures as visiting professor at ECU

Mark A. Kossick, a ĢƵprofessor of nursing who directs nursing graduate programs and also is anesthesia simulation education coordinator, presented six hours of lectures March 22 as a visiting professor at East Carolina University.
