University's chancellor search process resumes; committee to meet Sept. 21

The search for WCU鈥檚 next chancellor will officially resume Friday, Sept. 21, as the committee helping select a successor to the late David O. Belcher will hold its first meeting since the July 16 announcement that a finalist for the position had withdrawn from consideration.

Bobilya, Chandler help co-author paper for journal

Andrew Bobilya, associate professor and director of WCU鈥檚 Parks and Recreation Management Program, and Resa Chandler, assistant professor in the Health and Physical Education Program, recently published a paper with co-authors from Prescott College, Montreat College and the Millbrook School.

Kauffman named recipient of Old North State Award

N. Leroy Kauffman, 蘑菇短视频associate professor of accounting, has been named a recipient of the Old North State Award, one of North Carolina鈥檚 highest civilian honors.

WCU's Office of Professional Growth and Enrichment is offering a Digital Marketing and Public Relations Certificate Program from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on six Fridays, beginning Oct. 5 and running through Nov. 16, at the university鈥檚 Biltmore Park site in Asheville.
