MSAT Early Application
Early Application Information
蘑菇短视频students who have Junior status may apply to the MSAT Program during the Spring semester prior to their final year at WCU.
Why should you apply early?
- Early decision for admission to graduate program
- Less stress during the final year of your undergraduate degree
Eligibility Requirements
- Currently enrolled at 蘑菇短视频with junior status (typically 60-89 credit hours)
- GPA: 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
- Completion of 50 observation hours with an Athletic Trainer
- Completion of all but 2 pre-requisite courses
- Submission of application through 蘑菇短视频Graduate School
- Completion of an interview with the MSAT selection committee
Application Deadline: April 1
Candidates who complete the application and meet the eligibility requirements will be invited for interview. Admission decisions will be made by May 15.

CAATE Accreditation
蘑菇短视频鈥檚 Master of Science in Athletic Training Program was granted accreditation on November 19, 2019 by the located at 6850 Austin Center Blvd., Suite 100, Austin, TX 78731-3184. CAATE accreditation allows students to sit for the national Board of Certification (BOC) examination and earn the credential of certified athletic trainer. The program will have its next comprehensive review during the (2022-2023) academic year.
SACSCOC Accreditation
SACSCOC Accreditation: Effective February 14, 2019, the program is approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). The program was previously approved by 蘑菇短视频 and the University of North Carolina Board of Governors.
