Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’ comes to big screen in Sunday Cinema Series

William Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” comes to the big screen at ĢƵ as the Sunday Cinema Series continues Sunday, May 5, at 3 p.m. in the John W. Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center.

The movie version of one of the Bard’s most intense tragedies is rated PG-13 and lasts more than two hours. The screening is from a recording of a performance at the National Theatre in London and will be shown in high definition in the performance hall.

The ĢƵFine Art Museum will be open one hour prior to the screening. Concessions will available for purchase and can be taken in the performance hall during the screening.
